On June 26th 400 members, parents and staff took part in the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dorchester’s Annual Member Recognition Night Dinner sponsored by "the Mark Wahlber youth foundation" at historic Fenway Park in Boston. Thanks to the support of the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation the event was moved off-site for the first time in the Club’s history. Club members in attendance, with the Park as a backdrop, received awards for outstanding participation, sportsmanship and leadership within the Club’s core program areas. The night concluded with the presentation of the Program Director’s awards – the top award in each area as well as the prestigious Youth of the Year Awards.
